You walk slow down the road
Holding (the) bible strong as your guide
Feeling so small for that ride
Crying that hell on earth is here, (in) whom I can rely?
(In) whom I can rely?
You would not deal again, without support behind you
All of this old fear of blame
Long embedded in that crazy dark hole of your mind
Dark hole of your mind
Crying all the time
Who will lead me? Who will help me?
Who will cleanse me to ease my fears?
Who will uprise, against evil
Long time I learnt was inside me?
Repent sinner!! God has told me (that) there is a devil inside of you!!
Bare your soul here!! In my God’s house!!
You will soon have nothing to hide!!
Rubbish in your ears
Rubbish trough your mind
Now I’m empty, my fears are gone
I’m a blank sheet, please start to write!
I will learn such a destiny awaits
To a servant whose mind is blind
Don’t ask questions!! Dirty sinner!!
I will record my truth with fire!!
It will hurt you, but no matter!!
(the) way of Lord is your suffering...
Run away, blowing down the doors of your hell
Don’t think (that) anyone but you
Has built your sightless jail
Built your sightless jail...
Buried deep under a dirty culture of blame
Can’t resist a lie so deeply hooked on you
Break your chains and get awake to live your live
Don’t let them impose their truth!!!

This is the very pinnacle of the band's work. The amount of great songs is staggering.
They don't experiment excessively, but what they do sticks forcefully in my mind. I can't single out a single best song, cause there's too much of them - The Cavernous Deep, Nonextence, Grit, Among Ashes and Monoliths and even Black waters have all set places in several of my playlists. This album hit me off guard, and it hit strong. One of the best in 2021 steeplejack
